What seems liked a slow night turned into an awesome trip..... 7 Hammerheads throughout the night. All roughly this size or larger

May be babies, but still a really fun fight on a lightwieght uglystick.

Then just as dawn approached it picked up. 2 Puffers one right after another. Keep in mind these are the biggest Puffer's I've ever seen.

Then we hooked up on something which we first thought was a ray... But then as we brought it in it turned out to be something much better :)

Roughly a 10lb Stripped Jack..... Thats all I remembered to take pictures of lol.... Also caught a small ray, a small jack, and a seargent major fish(not sure if thats its real name, but thats what someone else told me it was)
Was a good night of fishing, was the last time me and all my buddies were able to go, they all leave for Iraq friday, So if anyone wants to come with and fill the empty spots on the peir let me know :)

Just click on the Img tab, paste the URL address, then click on the Img tab again. Try removing the "Code" from your post. Thats throwing the pics off.

Striped Jack...or more commonly known as Golden Trevally (Gnathanodon speciosus).

Great catch! I would love to catch one of those some day :D

Yea it was really fun, and a surprising catch. Caught it on the bottom on a frozen Sardine. We decided to keep it and cook it, it is a very good tasting fish, second in my mind only to Mahi Mahi

well that is a full grown puffer, and once they get past about 1# they grow spikes covering their whole body.... they also have a beak on them, its not uncommon where i fish, to not even fill a hit and them bit through your line, and in some larger cases the hook itself.....
