What Happened?

Yesterday, used 50 live bait up in about 2 hours...
Most peacock bass were between 1 to 2 pounds... largest 3+.
Today, same place, same time, another 50 live bait...
One 3 pound fish and about 8, one pound fish...
Brought home 35 live bait.
Today the water temperature was 75-76 degrees.
Yesterday 80-81 degrees.
Both days... partly cloudy, ENE wind 15 to 16 MPH,
Barameter... 30.08 falling vs 30.12 steady
Could water temperature make that much difference?
Whipping the shoreline with lures and flys produced a few small peacock bass under 12 inches... 2 Red Devils, 12 Largemouth under 4 inches, and one bluegill. Saw 3 or 4 larger peacock bass make half-hearted chase at lures... not very aggressive.
As for "catching" fish... A slow day.
Had a fun time with good friends.
