I went for a few hours this afternoon. I started off fishing for BGs. My first three cast caught 3 BGs. Caught 24 BGs, two peacocks, about 1# ea., and a channel cat. Still no busting on the shad. Nice way to spend a Sat. afternoon.

I saw a couple of other boats out. Not to many guys on the bank. Anyone else go today?

My son Luke and I hit the lake from 11 to 4 and it was kind of slow. Had him throwing his first bubble rig set up and it was not as easy as he thought it would be. Shortened his leaders, but still lots of tangles. (Help Dad !) We picked up a bunch of small tucs and some bluegill. The bluegill were chasing the green fly all day, but couldn't get hooked up. Nothing over 1 lb. Beautiful day. Water level still dropping slowly. No bank fishermen out on lake. Just the guys at the ramp.
