Got some shorefishing in today and landed two decent size tucs using 7 inch watermelon powerworms. Just happened to spot these two protecting the nest and thought id throw some lures at them. After each fish snapped my line, leaving my only two 1/8 ounce white roadrunners in each of their mouths, i finally landed each of them thanks to the help of a fellow fisherman who lended me his net. I returned them to their nest and they resumed their protective roles again instantly.(minus my lures in their mouth) Thanks for reading!!

Good job finding the nests. What pound test line were you using? The tuc in the first pic looks to have a full belly.
