I didn't fish, but here is a report from someone who did.
I'm going from memory here, so the figures on the bluegill and bass may be short a few fish. Only caught bass in the morning... the hot action was in the middle of the day. We all left at 2:30 pm.

Largemouth Bass - several. One caught on a small spinnerbait was nice enough to take a picture with. (over 3 lbs?) Caught that one around timber.

Peacock Bass - 17, small ones up to 1 1/4 pound size.

Bluegill - 5, Nice size ones. Good to see bluegill around again.

Red Devils - 2... aggressive ones

All were caught while working the grass lines fishing for peacock bass. That makes the bluegill and red devils pretty aggressive. Our 2 anglers were using spinning and fly rods. They didn't mention what lures or flys they were using.... but.... I did notice what looked like a 2 inch, white Senko.... and one of Clay's "Clean Sweep" flys in Rainbow color.
They could have just left them out there for me to see and been using something else... you know how fishermen are...

This is a shot of a 2" Senko.

This is one of Clay's (Nervous Water Fly Shop) "Clean Sweep"flys in the Rainbow color.

Went out on Tue for a quick trip from 10 to noon. Didnt have any luck, but I did see a huge snakehead. He had to be 5 or 6lbs and looked to be guarding some small ones. Wouldnt take anything I threw his way. Bad time to be out of bluegills ! Threw the bubble with that white and red fly but no takers.
