My First Tuc !!!

Postby kcandjacy » Tue Apr 13, 2010 3:52 pm

I took my wife out today and headed for the boat ramp for some shoreline fishing at lake wilson. I had been there three times prior, but only caught catfish, bluegill, and red devils. Today i finally caught a tuc or peacock bass, my first time.. What a rush!! I was using a 7 inch pumpkinseed powerworm. Beautiful day out on the water!! :D

Congrats on the Tuc, especially under these tough conditions. I've got some pumpkin seed lizards. Maybe I should give them a try! I'm sure the Tuc put up a good fight. Just wait till this summer.

Congratulations, especially since you caught it on a worm! That's almost unheard of. Good luck with your future fishing trips to the lake!
