Monday Kayak Trip

Left the basstracker home in the carport. Took the kayak for a little short south fork trip. Shallow water. Seven blocks showing at the ramp. Started out at 11 and was back by 2. Had a little luck this time. Got a nice tuc around 3lbs on the shoreline with a tilapia. He killed it ! Must be an early spawner-- big bump on his head. My first bumper of the year ! Then I picked up a one lb largemouth. Looked healthy too. Tried some lures, but no luck. Overcast with little wind. Nice day to be out. Saw another kayaker catching catfish. Lots of red devils on the bank.
