Don't tell Chris I told you this.....

I think Chris had a good day. The two of them were only going to fish from 8 till noon.
(unless the fishing was good.... ) It must have been good because he didn't get home till after 5 PM.

Chris never tells me anything because he says I give away all his secrets. "Blab everything to everybody" is the way he puts it. So I'm just guessing here on how well they did.

The bottom of the boat was littered with those little, 2 inch, white Senkos. He averages one fish per Senko, sometimes 2.... there had to be 25 or more broken ones.

He left this morning with 40 live bait. There were less than 20 still in the live well.

I ask if the fish were still schooling and he started off about them busting all around the boat. "So you caught them all schooling"? "No, about 1/2 along the shore. (where they were chasing bait in the shallow water) About 1/2 on the Senkos and 1/2 on live bait.

(Sunday they were schooling from BSA Island all the way down to the Dam, so I guess that's where he was fishing)

That's all I could get out of him. When I ask how come they did so good today and we had a slow day yesterday...... He said the guy he fished with today was a really good bass fisherman, hard corps, and an really good caster....... Excellent Caster.

John, do you think he's trying to tell us something?

Maybe it had something to do with the temperature, Stan. Monday was significantly warmer than Sunday. I tried on tuesday and caught only 4 on the north fork with one large one, my friend went on the south fork and caught 45 in one spot. We fished about the same time and even caught our first one about the same time in the morning. I finished about 8:45 and he finished about 9:45. Tried the south fork yesterday and caught only one bass and one tuc.
