Well, the rig that worked well last Fri didn't work worth a d@m# today! The Tucs were scarcely busting out in the main basin. The clear bubble/gold fly that worked well last Fri wasn't cutting it today. Only caught two in about 1.5 hours of fishing.

Well, that's 2 more than we caught.... not even a chase all morning.
water temperature was 74 to 76 degrees. We worked the shoreline from BSA Isl. to the rapids on the North Fork. Water Temp there was 68 degrees and no smallmouth bass.
(or catfish)

Hardly any schooling action.... always "over there"... not long enough or close enough to cast to.

Now on Monday afternoon, we caught several fish along the shore...
lots of chases and missed strikes. (those weedless bass bug flys may be just a little too weedless... not snagging the fish eather.)
Tuesday morning there were no fish where we had so much fun the afternoon before.
