Tag # 3977 and a personal best

Postby Pegasus » Mon Sep 12, 2011 8:49 pm

What a day we had on the lake on Monday 9-12-11. Picked up a tagged fish # 3977. This tuc weighed in at 4- 1/2 lbs on the Boga grip. Caught him at 3pm over by Kemoo farms restaurant in the trees. I just sat down and calculated the weight of my top five tucs today. Over 22 -1/2 lbs. Has to be my personal best with out a doubt. My biggest went 5-1/4. Dark side all the way ! This one's for you Mel !

:D

We tagged that peacock bass a little south of Kemoo Farm on 27 Aug 11.
It weighed 4 1/2 pounds and measured 19 inches.

I have a picture that looks just like that ! I haven't downloaded it yet, but mine shows the tag. And Stan sure has an accurate scale. The bigger fish were very active yesterday. Had 6 fish over 4lbs and the one over 5lbs. Still looking for that huge one ! I knew Mel would appreciate this story.
