New to the Island

Whats up Everyone!!

I am new to the Island and what to know if the shore fishing is good or do I have to rent a Kayak to caught some fish...

Shore fishing can be ok, if you find the right spots. A kayak will drastically increase mobility and you can hit several spots, finding that honey hole. Welcome aboard.

Weekdays are best since most fishermen are working. Weekends are more crowded, but nothing really extreme. Early morning 0700ish and evening, 1630 on, are good times.

No Luck

Just came back from Lake Wilson ant this is my second time at the lake and I have not gotten even a bit. I've been fishing off the boat ramp and along the side there but no luck.

What am i doing wrong need to know what everyone is using out here to catch these bass...
