Launched 6:30am to 11am. Landed 4LM Bass. Sunny, Hot, Brezzy, WT 83-84, Stained 1 2ft, BP 30.03F, Moon, 3.6%, Level Gauge 76.34ft. Today was a big test for The Swimbait 5", its a lure and technique that I ve not used really before being from PA. Let me say its an awesome way to fish! I see it more and more in BASS and FLW tournaments. I got the mold a little while ago and the lures have looked sweet.. I rigged them using XPS Swimbait hooks 5/0 "screw in" 1/4oz, and its sort of rigging texas after screwing in the top... Awesome action! On youtube I watched a video Mike Ike did on swimbaits, saying, it has to wobble, and swim.... Thats exactly what my lure did today... Swimming in wobbles back and forth and the tail swims,, Looks Great... I think with my color combinations and an adjustment here or there, Its ready!!! We fished the dam after I noticed my battery was dieing. We threw the swimbait all over getting hits and hooking up with 4 LM. Tagged two First one Tag#4253, 15", 1.5lbs, 9.5"c, Caught by Dam sign on 5" swimBait wht/Coal "Smoke Color" and second Tag#4254, 14.5" 1.25lbs, 9"c caught under power lines Dam on Swimbait 5" BlueBall color.. All around the sumbereged point and in schools swimming around... The Hit is the first thing I noticed!! Pulls the rod out of your hands. Its so big, it really weeds out the smaller fish, But I got hits all day!!! Covered a lot of water!!!!! Fished a little deeper with it also...
