[BASSTRACKER]

well the mornings are definately the time to be out. did pretty good starting out. on the first cast got a nice 2lb largemouth on a tubebait,dont know what motivated me to finesse fish but it worked great, was one of those days you bring 7 poles and use only one bait one pole most of the day. threw the tube most of the morning and caught 3 nice bass and lost 3 at the boat. it got crowded fast too, dont think i have seen so many shore fisherman before, seemed every dirt spot between the grass has someone in it. lots of boats i havent seen before too, got hard to find solace after 9 am hahahaah. traded the lad for lunch and went back out but the early shallow tube bite was dead,couldnt buy a bite for much of the afternoon. tried a variety of lures and nothing worked really. did get on a small school of bass with a deep diving crankbait, was in 20ft of water throwing a lure i knew was hitting 16ft and caught 3 bass off a point,caught one more on a shakeyhead from the same point after the crank stopped producing. after that the day was done. cant complain caught 8 bass so it was a good day compared to the past few trips. very hot out there,lots of sunscreen and lots of water!
