Thurs. Afternoon

Postby Stan Wright » Fri Jun 17, 2011 9:07 am

:(
As everyone said: "You should have been here this morning."

Schooling peacock bass all morning... NO schooling PB all afternoon.

I had to work really hard for these guys.

A small red devil... on the Tenkara Rod.

This guy weighed a little over 1/2 pound on the BogaGrip.
Saw several more bluegill.

My one and only peacock bass... 3/4 pound.
He kept missing the lure. Caught him on the 3rd cast.
Micro-lite reel and 4# test line... good fun

Friday morning... caught some schooling fish. Lots more sunshine today than yesterday... fish were not schooling as actively. Fish were deep... Opie was using live bait, letting it sink down... catching some larger fish.

Caught some fish working the shoreline.

@ Dude: Try using Marine grade Stabil. I use a cocktail of Stabil/Seafoam/Ringfree. At least use the Marine Stabil. It fights the effects of ethanol.

@ Bass: Hahaha. Do whatever you want as long as its what "they" want!

road warrior: i use non ethenol fuel from sand island, or waianae and add regular stabil. i think mostly just maintenance never cleaned carb since getting it maybe a better fuel filter should be installed just got that inline glass screen filter. what kind of mixture of seafoam and other additive do you use. someone told me to run carb dry also.

I just go by the directions on each. Usually about 1 oz of Stabil and Ringfree and a few oz of Seafoam per 10 gallons of fuel. I try and run my yard machines and generators dry as well
