Who went fishing today?

Postby Stan Wright » Sat Jun 05, 2010 6:02 pm

Come on.... how about some information. My wife has had me moving furnature and painting walls for 3 days.... Aaaaaaaaa

What's happening at the lake now that the water level is down to where it was before the rains last month?

Still didn't see any big guys on the nest or shoreline. Slower action on the bubble rig compared to some of the days I had when the water level was higher in the grass. Hot and sunny. Nice to find some shade and hide. Beats painting ! ( I happen to know that for a fact ! )

I never fished for bluegill, so I went Thursday from 10 to 2.
Caught 6 BG, 6 Red Devil, 1 Black Devil (looks like a red devil but black),
2 small LMB, and 3 good size (16-20") Tucs.
All on lures except 1 tuc that was swimming around and took a medaka.
The other 2 tucs were nesting (very hard to find)
The red devils are getting more aggressive now and not running away.
If the water level keeps dropping, it will be very easy to spot the
nesting tucs. I'll wait a couple week and try again.
Keep fishin'

I guess you joined the no fishing club Stan. I haven't fished the lake since April.
