Sunday, Fishing Report

Postby Carolina Bassin » Sun Jan 25, 2009 6:12 pm

All,

Fished from 900am to 300pm and only caught 2 Largemouth. These were caught slow rolling a white spinnerbait in about 12ft of water along the banks at Kincades. The water temp got up to 73 degrees and the water is pretty clear around this area.
Both fish looked skinny, as if there are no bait fish. You can almost see their ribs (See Pic)

I've hooked a few Large Mouth and they looked thin too. I guess that they just aren't getting fed enough. Not like the aggressive Peacocks! As a rule...I always dump my left over bait fish in the lake. The ones that don't get eaten just might procreate! Let's hope so!
