Trolling Motor

Postby MichiganMan » Tue Nov 18, 2008 3:35 pm

Hey guys/gals,

I'm trying to find a trolling motor on the island. I found a 50lb Minn-Kota Endura on line for $200, but they want $54 to ship it over. I'm new to the island so I don't know if I can find as good of a deal without having to pay for shipping. Any ideas? Also, if anyone has a nice used trolling motor they want to sell, I may be interested.

Thanks,

MM

They have trowling motors at West Marine on Sand Island Rd. If they don't have the model you like, they can ship it here in about 2 weeks. (I'm not sure about the shipping costs)

Sports Authority use to stock trowling motors, but don't any more.

I always buy mine from Cabela's... I just happened to time it just right on my last order and got free shipping. The time before, shipping was around $80. The return policy and service with Cabela's is well worth it.

Thanks Stan, I'll go check out West Marine. I got an inflatable boat for cheap that I want to get out to Wilson in. I've only been once when Mike took me. I know I have to get out there a heck of alot more than that to reach "Master Baiter" status.
