Steve had some vacation days to burn so we decided that going fishing was a good way dispose of them...
Catching peacock bass with lures proved more difficult than we thought. There were small ones around, but the larger fish just were not interested. The red devils on the other hand were rather aggressive. They especially liked the diving crank baits..
We had more luck with live bait at Blue Boat Point. The channel catfish even joined the party. All in all it was a lot of fun with a wide variety of fish caught.

Hey Stan,
Glad to see the peacocks are on the chew again.
I've been here on Diego Garcia for almost 3 weeks, lots of groupers in the lagoon area(big lagoon 10 miles X 4 miles wide, at points).
Looking forward to some peacock bass fishing next week in Singapore.
