I caught a fish...

Went to the boat launch and caught some fish. over this past few days.

Caught Catfish, Goldfish, Red Devils, and more. All went in my pond :-)

What did you do with the Goldfish? Surprised he didn't get munched by a big Tuc. I wonder if he is an escapee feeder goldfish of Stan's all grown up.

OOOOH Forgot......

I Caught a Turtle on my fishing pole last week and TODAY another person caught a turtle at the boat launch. Boy did he put up a fight. I hope this one survives, swallowed the entire hook....

Thank you to the family that was there donating the turtle and the red devils to my pond.

These turtles will now go to my turtle pond.

Waikiki Aquarium.. better watch out, I'm catching up... LOL

I need more red devils, they are so awesome in my pond. Not to mention they do so well in the eco balance system of aquaponics.

AWESOME, that goldfish looks real happy, and no fear of getting eaten now. I've caught several turtles on the left side of ramp when the water level is high, pain in the butt to unhook as they they always retract their heads into their shells. I wonder if there's any snapping turtles still in the lake.
Your aquaponics system looks awesome! I'm in the process of setting up an aquaponics system in my yard using plastic 55g drums. I'll probably go the red tilapia route but I have been successful acclimating Aholehole to freshwater so may try that.

If you want red devils, just get up with Filthyfisherman. Each red devil tourney produces a couple of hundred fish each time.
