Report 9-2-12 Red Devil Throw Down

Postby Filthyfisherman » Sun Sep 02, 2012 6:30 pm

So,,,, Another successful tourney!!!! A small one,, but some new faces and everyone smiling at the final count! Busting happening all over Kemmo Island while we were counting.....
1pm to 5pm,,, Prt Cloudy, Rainy, WT 83 1ft clarity, Rainfall .06in, Level 72.44, wind N 4mph av,,, The Lake is UP! And fishing is still a bit tough at Wilson but,, Armed with a earthworm you can have a good time!!! Catfish were caught today on earthworms during the tourney on both boats mine and marcus's. Red Devils were hard to see but when you found one, their were a bunch usally with it.. Blind casting was productive in certain areas. And when we ran out of earthworms, Brent used a Berkley Trout worm in Red and it worked! We ran out of worms in the last hour of tourney. All in all another great tourney!!! Still chipping away at the Red Devils until they are under control!! Next tourney Sept 30

Winner = Marcus N 37RD's
Tourney Total = 70
RD TD Year Total = 570

At the end of the tourney several Bass were caught by kemmo island, Also the NEW Recycled Kona Coffee seris Filthy Lizzard produced a Nice Bass in some wood with a 1/2oz bullet with 3/0 EWG hook..
