Aloha Y'all,
I find myself planning a trip to the Las Vegas, Nevada area the first two weeks of April 2009. My son-in-law, a Nevada Army National Guard member, is off to Iraq...again... and the family is going out to the ninth island to send him off right. While I'm there I'd like to get in some fishing with him and my daughter. Does anyone know of any reputable fishing guides, boat rentals in the area? Is it even worth trying to fish in April in Nevada? Yeah, I've been here way too long, but I'll be the first to admit I'm spoiled...so what! Good fishing, good brewskis... What else could a guy need? I'd appreciate any positive input or suggestions y'all might have. Mahalo & Aloha!

This is who I fish with every time....
http://www.adventureinangling.com/
(I think he has a new web site, but this one still works)
Mark Edison (Las Vegas)
MEdison2@cox.net
Not only does he provide all the tackle, (you can also bring your own if you like) Mark will clean and package all your fish for you.... so don't forget to bring an ice chest.
Just email him and tell him when you'll be there.... He can advise you on what kind of fishing action is going on.
I just got back from Las Vegas last week. I didn't have time to go fishing but I saw lots of fish being cleaned at the cleaning station at the marina.
