what the heck is this? Caught in the stream that flows from Hoomahluhia botanicals.

Yeah, that a tilapia. Looks like ones that is sold live at our asian supermarkets in Toronto.

Tasty buggers...but I won't eat anything from that stream...pretty dirty near Chinatown area I saw lots of them in 2000 in the stretch in Chinatown, fewer numbers in 2002, but none when I visited again in 2007...hm...pollution? catch and keep depletion (I hope not...)?

If you want to find more, go to Ala Wai. The schools are so thick you can literally snag them (I did that accidentally when the school came cruising along during my retrieve...mean fight! )
