Fly Fishing
Ok I grew up fly fishing for trout and pan fish in Alabama and I would like to start Fly fishing here as well on the Flats and in the lake so could anyone tell me the best place to get my flyfishing equipment and what type of flys usualy work

I usually ask the guys in the shop and they are super great at answering your questions. They really know thier stuff. I've also ordered online at Cabelas. Are you referring to Hickam Flats by the way? That's a good spot. Another good spot for bones is around the Laie area. As far as fly fishing the lake...Stan IS the man. He likes to give away all his secrets...including his son's (when he can squeeze him for enough info).
