Peacock bass print

So here is the deal. these are Gyotaku fish prints of wild caught peacocks here in Hawaii. I commisioned Naoki to make these. There are only two originals of this and no prints will be made. He does saltwater fish and has only done a select freshwater. This is the numbered 01 original and I have #02.

These are made by painting the actual fish with a ink and then printing it on rice paper and then hand painting the fish.

I am asking $125 for this and can have it framed in solid Koa if interested.

By the way before anyone slams me for taking fish. These fish that were used were the ones that were dying off during the spawn. They looked perfect but were floating up on the surface kicking around belly up but alive. Those who have seen them know what I am talking about.

Those are pretty cool. Has anyone heard why the tucs do that? It seems like it only happens when the water is really warm.
