fly fishing

I was wanting to get into fly fishing, and was wondering is there any shop on island besides sports authority to get gear? And dos anyone have and good pointers to give. Im just learnig and i dont want to get thrown off the lake for being so bad. Its bad enuff i got to hang out with that guy with the screen name boatless. Just kiding

Fly fishing from shore can be done but is very limited, hope you have some kind of water craft. You can try
www.nervouswaterhawaii.com. They are located in Kaimuki, 3434 Waialae Ave. Kind of hard to find. If you do a search they have been mentioned a few times.

Yea, Nervous Water fly shop can help you out. Clay and Sean fish the lake and can help you with what flys to use. They can show you how to make them too. Clay also does casting lessons...
