I was reading the TenkaraUSA Forum about everyone catching trout in the snow… They were talking about how much fun they were having. Went out to Ho'omaluhia in Kaneohe yesterday and didn't find any snow… or any trout…
Aloha,
Stan

Thousands and thousands…. The bottom along the dam (fishing area) was carpeted with them. Lots of people catching.
They are "bread trained" so they wouldn't bite any flys I happened to have.
Saw some huge tilapia, 5-bar, and even a few tiny peacock bass.

Stan, you just needed to walk further upstream. There was about 3" of snow and I caught 8 rainbow and 3 brown trout. To bad I forgot my camera.....

They need to start a catch and keep program for Red Devils there limit of 10 at least, let people eat them. No live removal so people don't spread them.

I agree, but a certain fish Nazi probably doesn't know anything about lake management.
