Oio Self Portrait

How do you take a picture of yourself so friends will believe your "fishing tale"?
Attach your GoPro camera to a mangrove root, set it to take a picture every 4 seconds... and
hold your fish. The wide angle lens ensures you'll get everything in your picture... even though the horizon line may be a little distorted. LOL
Now, let's talk about catching your fish. First you spot the fish feeding along in shallow water. Cast your fly several yards in front of the fish... not too close now. Twitch the fly as the fish gets near... just a little, you don't want to spook it.
When the oio pounces on the fly, raise the rod sharply and set the hook... then hang on as it's powerful run strips off 100 yards of line from your reel. Is it any wonder more and more anglers are taking up the flyrod and walking the flats in search of bonefish.
The golden Hawaiian sunset is reflected in what would normally be the silver sides of the ghost of the flats.
