:D
Caught a 2 pounder last week... while live baiting for peacock bass at Blue Boat point.
Never caught one on live bait before. I usually use some kind of fly. They are fun on a flyrod.

carp fishing

I got one about six months ago.

Actually I was trying different lures as the bass was not cooperating and decided to try this little lead head jig with a paddle tail lure. Was using 6lb test line and threw this lure along the bank near a tree limb and a carp inhaled the lure. Thought it was a Tuc at first as it was quite a battle bringing that fish to the boat - probably went about two 1/2 pounds.

Not sure if that carp actually bite my lure or if I just happended to throw that lure right in front of it's mouth when it was feeding off the bottom but for now I'm calling this my secret carp lure.

I caught one pushing 4 pounds a few years back on a earthworm.

My granddaughter caught a 4# a few years ago using chicken liver.
