Moving Day......at the bridge !

Postby Pegasus » Sat Mar 02, 2013 9:32 am

As I passed under the bridge on Friday morning, I noticed a big group of C&C workers and a couple of sheriffs. They were cleaning out all of the junk on the right side. I talked to the sheriff, and he said that they did the left side clean out the other day. He also said that some of the other encampments on the lake were on DNLR land and they had nothing to do with them. I guess that because these were under the overpass, they were a state problem. Next on their list.... the airport area AGAIN !

The homeless will just move from under the bridge (out of sight/out of mind) to the streets of Wahiawa town. Petty thefts will go up as the homeless steal to replace whatever the City workers threw away, then homeless move back under the bridge. Cycle starts over,......

I feel for their situation but their little homeless camp was getting out of hand! They had generators at that camp too! That's what I call living the homeless high-life!! During a tournament , me and my partner had to abandon our spot right next to the camp because the smell was just too much for us! As much I would hate for it to happen, roadwarriorsvt is spot on.
