:(
Water temperature was 69 to 70 degrees again today. Tossed all kind of lures from 8:00 to 12:00 noon... 0-0-0
No strikes - No hookups - No fish landed.

I still had some live bait left over from Saturday so we tried that for an hour or so. Got 3 Peacock bass and one largemouth...
All under 10 pounds.

Last Friday I headed up the south fork to see how far I could make it. Took off my front seat and made it under the first bridge. Followed the stream back as far as I could untill I ran into a blockade. A tree had fallen across the entire width and was collecting more loose debris. The water temperature fell to a low of 62 degrees. I did not see any fish. Where are all those small mouth that live back there ??? If you are looking for a jungle adventure, take a trip down the south fork. Just remember to bring a saw if you want to make it all the way to those small mouths. It gets really narrow, but it was deep enough.
