I hear the fishing over by the volcano is really "hot". No, really. The lava flowing into the ocean heats the water and kills some of the reef fish. It also chases other smaller fish out of their hiding places. This attracts larger predator fish. The result, some good fishing action.

Hawaii is the only place where we have "Drive-in Volcanoes". In every other part of the world, people run from volcanic eruptions. In Hawaii, people drive over for a closer look.
