Oh man, don't get me started on this subject!

I'll keep my comments brief. Why do peeps think they hired a new DLNR officer? Because we've never seen him before? He's probably one of the few thats been around for years. They concentrate more on the saltwater side. Freshwater fishing is only a very tiny percentage of what they are responsible for. I'm fine with them enforcing the laws, as I try to be a fairly law abiding citizen, but with enforcement so infrequent and sporadic, I can see how one may view it as harassment. But do you really want them coming around on a regular basis?

Comparing battling the homeless versus citing a boat ramp angler for no life vest, sure the homless is much more of a detriment to the lake. They've done sweeps in the past, cleared them out, etc., but the homeless have to be somewhere, and they eventually return to the lake areas, out of sight to most of society. Wait till Ahnkochee see's this subject. He's gonna give us an earful!
