Boating certificates??!! Really???

Go to oregon for a few weeks and come back to a half empty lake with a sewage spill in it, ohh well beach time I guess and then I hear if the state and DLNR have thier way I'll need a licence to operate my boat , so much for land of the free.......

Well, the good news is we have 2 years to pass the Boat Safety Course.

Guess if everyone learns how to operate a boat safely, we will no longer be NUMBER ONE state in boating deaths. :evil:

We're number one?!?! I rarely if ever hear of boating deaths here. Is there a website with statistics for each state?
