Jose Wejebe,, Host of The Spanish Fly was killed Friday afternoon when his single engine plane crashed in Everglades city..... A Blow to the Fishing Industry,,, as Jose and The Spanish Fly represented and contributed so much to the sport.... Sad, Sad, day....

If I hadn't ever watched Jose catching bonefish on the fly I may never have ended up catching them myself out on the Hickam flats. He was definitely one of the best TV fishing host and I will definately miss watching his show.
