Since being on the mainland I've been able to check out a bunch of rods. Dicks sporting goods carries the field and stream tech spec rods which sell for $60, I bought their flipping stick and was really impressed. Gonna pick up one of their spinning rods for dropshotting as well checked that one out the other day. I'm not saying these rods are as good as a loomis, team diawa or other high end rods but they are just as nice as some of the rods that sell for around $100. Anyone on a budget looking for a quality rod might want to check them out. I like them more than my cabellas prodigys which are normally $100 on sale right now for $80.
