Damashi / Sabiki Rig

Saltwater fisherman have been using flys (Damashi) to
catch Akuli and Halau for a long time. They tie branches
off a long line with a fly on each branch.
You can buy these Sabiki Rigs all ready made in any fishing supply store.
Most of the old timers make their own.
The rigs are fished using hand lines.
Spincasters use a single fly tied to a leader behind a plastic
casting bubble or torpedo weight.
So you can see that many guys have been "fly fishing" for
a long time and didn't even know it.
And they ask why we "fly fish"???
I found these "flys" yesterday... look familiar? I know they
work well for all the saltwater fish. I figured I'd see how they
work with a Tenkara rod.
These even glow in the dark!
