Come and help cleanup the bass hatchery grounds and facility. Bring your garden/yard tools, weed/grass cutters, gloves etc. or just bring yourself. If we have enough manpower, we may be also removing/replacing one of the large breeding tanks

We'll have refreshments available. Tour the hatchery and see how the bass restocking program works and meet other fishermen that are concerned about perpetuating bass fishing on Oahu.

Sounds good. I went last time as well. After a few hours of work, James fired up the wok. It was a good time. I plan on being there this time as well. 8)

We'll be out there representing hibarbeque.com and cooking lunch for all of the volunteers. Definitely award winning pulled pork and possibly brisket sandwhiches as well.

Make sure to come out for an ono free lunch.

Steve,
The Trout Unlimited guys will be there.
We talked about it at the meeting tonight
and there was lots of interest.
I don't have a count yet.

Not trying to hijack this thread at all, but we would love a headcount so that HIBBQ can make sure to have more than enough BBQ for this event.

If anyone is interested, we'll also be competing this weekend in the Up In Smoke competition this Sunday (6/19) at Aloha Stadium. Feel free to stop by and sample what we'll be serving at the HFFA hatchery clean-up. Just ask for Crash and we'll make sure you're taken care of.

Looking forward to the HFFA event....great cause!!

Crash,

Thanks for the generous offer for lunch, looking forward to tasting
that pulled pork after a morning's work cleaning the hatchery.

Brock will hopefully be getting a head count for you a few days before the cleanup day. I think he's also in contact with Stan as well.

There was a question about where to park... and will there be a sign near the front of the school, or someone directing people where to find the Hatchery?
Aloha,
Stan

Stan,

We'll post signage at Wahiawa Middle School pointing to where the hatchery is located in the back of the school campus. There's a lot of parking available near the hatchery.

Count me in!!

Looking forward to helping out!

How about a raffle for the voluteers? I'll throw in a semi-custom bait casting or spinning rod. Only catch, you have to give me a at least a month, to get it done.

Alright fishing folks!

I'll up the raffle prize, I'll build two rods, for two lucky fisher persons. Winners choice, bait caster or spinning rod. Fresh water rods only!

Also, I'll throw in 2 packs of tackle goodie bags (line, hooks, swim baits - really nice ones, custom poured worms, and some other great stuff - value easly $100.00 each)

So two rods, and two goodie bags of fishing stuff!!

Hopefully, this will get more volunteers!! 8)

This will only happen if Stan Wright sets it up the raffle.
