Is it true that, higher the water temp the more aggressive the peacocks become?
Is there two different species of peacocks in the lake?

I think so... Seems like when the water temp reaches 80 degrees or more the PB are just more aggressive. They seem to be moving around more... cruising the shoreline.

Check out this "bass" website...
Under the "Spring" heading they talk about temperature.

We have the butterfly peacock bass here, like the ones they have in Florida.
But I have seen some younger fish with a whole bunch of tiny spots on them that looked kind of like the speckled peacock.
