just thought of a little idea. since those 2 inch senkos are kind of hard to find. cant we just take a 4 inch senko, and cut it in half? i dont know if this will affect the action of worm, but it sounded like a good idea to me haha

I believe it should work. I cut some worms in half to make grubs out of them. They worked just as well as a 3" grub. I fish grubs the same way as senkos but more often and have had better luck with them. The tail twitches as if its a baitfish swimming.

We've done that... only thing is... the 3" and 4" Senkos are fatter.
But that does add a little weight to help the casting distance.
I've also cut some regular worms into smaller sizes.
:D

do you think the "fatter" profile of the worm makes a differrence?

I'm thinking if the fatter worms were actually better, they would make a fat 2" Senko.

If we're honest with ourselfs, there is no "accurate" way to tell if an original 2" Senko works better or worse that a 4" Senko cut in half. If you switch worms and see either an increase or decrease in strikes, you really can't say if its the worm or just the fish's behavior. I lknow some will probably disagree, just my opinion.
