anyone see this bill? they wanna form a task force to assess the lakes water quality and general condition to improve the sustainability and possible use for growing crops along the north shore once again. possibly to regulate the fishery as to help make it a viable resource for the economy....................... good or bad?? seems the more they get involved the less i like it, scares me to think they will see $ signs on the lake and lord knows what else they will do, think a task force will include anyone who actually fishes the lake regularly???doubted............

I agree that the more the government is involved... is not better.

On the other hand, the more valuable the lake is (Ag. irrigation) the more likely they will keep the dam in good repair and the watr level up.

Talk is cheap. I've seen past published articles talking about the use of Lake Wilson to revitalize the Wahiawa economy. In a nutshell, nothing ever happened. I wouldn't sweat it just yet......

Here is your chance to weigh in! Take the step and tell them what you think - what your ideas are, what you would like to see! A fresh new governmental approach who wants to hear from all you freshwater anglers. If anyone knows and cares about water quality, you (anglers) are probably the foremost advocates regarding the matter! Write a letter, go to a meeting. Go for it! It's your river, lake or reservoir (whatever you want to call it) - let 'em hear your voice.....Your EXPERTISE. (Anglers know quite a lot about water quality - hey, even the idea of impounding MORE water!!).
