A Thankful Fisherman

Postby roadwarriorsvt » Fri Feb 04, 2011 5:43 pm

Just thought I'd share with you. I met a bass fisherman from the mainland who wanted to know how to catch the peacock bass. I gave him a quick lesson on how peacocks are different from a LMB. I took him out the following Sat. afternoon. He didn't catch a peacock but man could he wack the heck out of the LMB with the lures that he brought with him. He gave me some of his lures that day, along with the proper technique. He ended up sending me a Plano box STUFFED with his favorite plastics, worms, tubes, poppers, etc. Talk about way too generous! Looks like a little aloha goes a long way with some mainland fishermen! 8)
