HFFA Restocks Lake Wilson

Postby roadwarriorsvt » Sun Nov 14, 2010 2:24 pm

First and formost, I've gotta thank the HFFA for taking the time to assist the Wahiawa Middle School in helping restock Lake Wilson with LMB, so that all of us can benefit from James' hard work at the hatchery. At least once a year, sometimes several times a year, HFFA members volunteer their time to help the hatchery restock the bass population. I think it was right around 600 LMB were released into various parts of the lake today.
Again, mahalos to all the guys who came out to help.

This is where it all starts.

Several HFFA members showed up to help, as they always do.

These guys make the fish's health a top concern.

Captain Brock was kind enough to let a stow-away on-board to take the pics!

Eddie kept busy netting the fish out and into their new home.

Thanks to James of the Wahiawa Middle School and the HFFA volunteers, ALL fishermen benefit from their volunteer work. :D

Nice size bass... they should stand a chance of survival.

I went to the lake today to check on the little bass that were released....
They are healthy and happy living in the grass along the shore....
