Genuine Fake Food

Referred to as "replica food", these plastic pieces of art look better than the real thing.

They are used in restaurants and store displays.

On a recent trip to Japan we visited a factory where replica food is made.

These are magnets...

It's easy to "read the menu" in a Japanese restaurant... just choose what looks good and point it out to the waitress. I'll have the Lunch Special please.

How about something sweet? Japanese love their icecream.

What kid wouldn't love to have this bento lunch.?

This is my favorite... yes, this is Guanine Imitation Fruit.

If you happen to drop by a fishing store.... :D

I'm looking for a traditional Tenkara Fly Line (Woven) about 13 feet long?

And a line holder?
