I've had several people ask me...
What is Tenkara?

The Tenkara Bum website gives you lots of good information about the gear.
His reports and evaluations are great for comparing the different rods.

It's another tool in ones arsenal of fishing techniques. I fell in love with Tenkara the first time I picked up one of the rods and made my first cast.
(and hooked a scrappy little bluegill)
I guess the best way for me to describe Tenkara is that it's fun.
