Reel Wilderness Adventures
The lodge alternative for your Alaskan wilderness fly fishing adventure of a lifetime
Hello Stan,
I have been home from the Fly Fishing Show circuit for about three weeks. Bookings have been coming in and I am happy to say we are almost filled up.... almost. There are still three great weeks that still have spots available. I am writing today to offer you a $1000 discount off of our regular rate of $4000 in an effort to get these dates filled.
Anyone you care to bring with you will also receive the discount.
The weeks of July 3rd to the 9th, July 10th to the 16th and the week of August 14th to the 20th all have room for at least four guests. The July dates will see the huge numbers of bright Sockeye Salmon entering the water shed. The Sockeye will be chrome bright and run from 6 to 13lbs. July also sees the start of our dry fly season for big Rainbow Trout. The Rainbows average about 20 inches with the big guys running to 29 inches. It is really something to see a big Rainbow’s head come up and smash your small dry fly. Side trips for Grayling to 22 inches on dry flies, Arctic Char and Northern Pike on surface poppers is some great wilderness fly fishing.
The August 14th to the 20th week will also have some great dry fly action for big Rainbows as well as see the beginning of the Sockeye spawn. Once the Sockeye start to spawn the feeding fest begins. Large Rainbow Trout and Arctic Char will be gorging on Salmon eggs for the rest of the season. Fishing with Salmon egg beads is the name of the game and fishing can be quite fast and furious. We will also take some side trips of large Grayling on dry flies as well as for Pike action on surface poppers.
The fly fishing is exceptional all season long, it just changes over the course of the season. The food is great, the guides are super and the wilderness fly fishing is nothing short of spectacular. Come join us this summer for a Reel Wilderness Adventures.

I fished with David before... good fun. I tried to use the picture from his email, but it didn't work... so here is a few pictures of my Sockeye.
Anyone interested?
