Abandon Cat on Morgans Pt.

As I pulled up to Morgans Pt. I noticed a small cat following Chris as he walked back to the boat. My first thought was "this is sure a friendly cat for a stray." It was rubbing up against his leg and crying in a loud voice. It also looked very healthy. How did the cat get here? Granted, houses were only 50 yards away ...accross the lake.... but it was over a mile from anything on our side of the lake.
"Got any dead bait in your live well?, ask Chris. I dipped out a live tilapia, about 3 inches in size, and handed the net to Chris. The little kitten had that fish almost before it hit the ground. With a loud crunch the fish was dead and a few seconds later the cat had eaten it and was begging for more. I thought that was a pretty big fish for such a little cat. Chris said they had fed it 6 already. I added 4 more.... catch, crunch, and swallow.
If it's still there tomorrow I'll try a rescue and take it to the humane society.
Aloha,
Stan
