I understand this young lady was in first place (junior division) after the morning weigh in of the Imua Wahiawa Freshwater Anglers tournament.

Her 5+ pound largemouth bass was also the largest fish of any of the anglers.... young or old.


This tournament was: Largemouth Bass Only... Lures Only

I didn't want to interrupt their fishing with a bunch of questions....
But I sure would like to find out more about that tournament and how everyone did.
( I bet there is a proud grandpa out there who can fill us in. )

We were fishing near them by BSA Is. No wonder I heard her screaming as she caught a fish!

That's my daughter in the pic. Awesome fisher-girl!!! the fish she caught was actually a 5.5 pound Catfish. Biggest fish of the day=)

We are both new to freshwater fishing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Mahalo

I'd suggest we all watch the way your daughter fishes.....
and fish the same way she does...
