And this Little Piggy

Postby Stan Wright » Fri Nov 13, 2009 9:24 pm

I saw something today at the lake that I've never seen before. At first I thought it was two big dogs... then I saw the boat.

The pigs saw the boat and headed over for a visit... The guy in the boat headed for deep water. All the while taking pictures with his camera phone.

I eased over closer, afraid I would scare them away. No problem the were not going anywhere.

We were both within 10 feet of shore, but the pigs were not the least bit afraid. I'm sure the young man tossing cat food up onto the shore helped.

I was so excited seeing the pigs and being so close, I forgot to get the names of the father and son in the other boat. This is not something you get to see every day.

That looks to be a couple of bends before Morgan's. I'll keep an eye out for them.

Now that you know...should start digging a pit in the ground

I know pigs are in the mountains...didn't know they come right into town.
Caution - Objects in picture are smaller than they appear.

I am genetically predisposed to make fish look bigger than they really are.

We passed by the same spot Sunday afternoon about 4:00...
On shore there were mongoose checking out the food...
In the water, the peacock bass were chasing shad.
No Pigs.
(Although there were some "hogs" among the peacock bass.
