FIrst time on Lake Wilson

I went today for the 1st time. I have been here in the military 6 years now and have no clue why i waited till today to go fishing on Wilson. The major drawback is fishing from the shore. I have seen shoreline fishing spots and scouted some. Today i fished the Wahiawa park. Boat Launch area. I caught nothing but saw several Tucs patrolling the shoreline. Nothing i presented to them worked. I used Rapala's, Power bait Minnows and some top water Zara's. Guess live bait is where its at so i may gove another location a shot tommorow.
