Lake Falkon, Texas/Mexico Border

Postby Stan Wright » Thu Aug 06, 2009 9:07 pm

One of the hot lakes for bass is Lake Falcon on the border between Texas and Mexico. Check out the video of Alton Jones and his son AJ.
http://www.altonjones.com/
They just set the camera on a tripod and let it run for 2 hours...
What you see is just the edited action..... now all this was shot AFTER they had been "catching all the big ones out of this tree top for an hour", said AJ.

Hay Skunked, when is our next visit to see the relatives in Texas?

I would love to fish there, but with my luck, I'd be the first guy to get skunked on that lake! The pros were weighing in 40+ pound five-fish limits last year in an Elite Series tournament there!
Choke Canyon and Falcon are the hot lakes in Texas right now. Lake Fork has fallen behind a bit, but is still a great lake. I'll keep fishing there because I like the big steaks at the restaurant at the motel!
Thanks for the link Mr. Wright.
